Article 1: Name, Nature, Mission and Objectives

A. Name: The name of the organization shall be "CHINESE-AMERICAN COMPUTER ASSOCIATION" (Association) abbreviated as CCA. The name shall never be changed in Chinese and English.

B. Nature: The Association is a non-profit, non-partisan and professional organization, which shall not be involved, in foreign politics.

C. Mission: The missions of the Chinese-American Computer Association (CCA) are:  to provide educational and training seminars and workshops on the latest information technologies to computer professionals in improvement of their technical skills and knowledge; to unite and enhance the computer professions; to promote CCA’s image and the betterment of Chinese-American Society; and to bridge and serve the business, government, academic communities and media.

D. Objectives: The objectives of the Association shall be:

        1. To provide a platform for technical information exchange

2. To encourage the pursuit of excellence in computer science, computer engineering, and technical management.

3. To provide an environment to further personal development.

4. To foster entrepreneurial development in computer related technologies.

5. To promote fellowship and fraternal atmosphere among fellow professionals.

6. To provide services and assist members with professional need.

7. To represent and advocate the views of Chinese-American computer professionals to the Corporate America and the governments in order to promote and improve their well-being.
